TOPIC: FACTORS THAT INFLUENCE THE COMPLETION OF COMMUNITY PROJECTS FUNDED UNDER THE CONSTITUENCY DEVELOPMENT FUND (CDF): A CASE OF THREE SELECTED WARDS IN VUBWI CONSTITUENCY, EASTERN PROVINCE OF ZAMBIA

This study examined factors affecting the completion of Constituency Development Fund (CDF) projects in Vubwi Constituency using a descriptive survey research design and a mixed methods approach. Data was collected from 105 community members managing CDF projects in Vubwi, Mlawe, and Mbozi wards through questionnaires and interviews. Findings revealed that despite timely fund disbursement, poor monitoring, limited stakeholder involvement, and insufficient financial resources hindered project completion. The study recommends strengthening monitoring through dedicated officers, enhancing stakeholder participation, and increasing financial allocations.
